CONSULTING SERVICES

Quality assurance
skills NOW’s training materials are quality assured as all assessment tasks and learning activities are mapped automatically to unit elements of competency and performance criteria. These can be in written form to provide evidence of trainee knowledge and skills or completed orally according to assessment moderation practices to ensure a uniformly high perfformance standard.
Our material is selected on the basis of utility with the emphasis on practical tasks and learning activities. To ensure that units are up to date and accord with current business practices, if a unit omits important information then we will include it. e.g. Merchandise products has nothing about planograms which are widely used in the retail industry.

Content customisation
Certificate packages follow the core and elective unit specifications for each certificate. There will, however be instances in which the content would be improved if supplementary units to meet specific employer needs were included. skills NOW has the resources to modify material to meet client specifications.
Such modification would be in addition to our service of branding standard material with customer logos.
As such customisation and usually involve using or editing existing material, this can usually be done at far lower cost than that of writing and printing new material.
skills NOW has the resources to provide other training materials such as induction programs for new staff and development of new systems.
For further information on these services contact Peter at skills NOW.
