skills NOW is proud to release two new packages so that we now offer retail training material for retail induction, Certificates II, III and IV and diploma levels.   These are:

SIR50107 Diploma of Retail Management

This follows the same two book format used for our other materials – a resource book and an activities and assessment book. These books cover sufficient units for each qualification and include supplementary material to ensure that the content is up-to-date and relevant. The books use many illustrations to make them more trainee friendly. They incorporate many learning activities – for assessment purposes these are mapped specifically to unit elements of competency and performance criteria and provide an inbuilt moderation facility to ensure reliable and consistent assessment.

SNR 1.01 Retail Induction and Productivity

This kit is primarily for the induction of new staff members in a retail workplace but can also be used to improve the productivity and skilling of existing staff. It includes an induction checklist to ensure that all inductee tasks are adequately covered together with brief notes, illustrations and practical learning activities. Using the “Retail is Detail” principle the kit covers 24 topics and inductees can perform up to 66 learning activities. Although this is not an official SIR07 Retail Services package, employees who have completed this kit should have acquired sufficient prior learning to enable them to commence SIR07 Retail training at Certificate III level.

Unlike the other skills NOW retail kits, this is in a single volume.
